A Picture’s Worth
Sam Rasnake

a 1,000 looks I never saw

This must have been

a good year Wish I could

remember

The eyes say beauty is

in the heavy silence And

the mirror my accomplice

my telling

What I carry to the grave

You can be so busy creating

it becomes your only

living No

future only past A pawn of

thin shadows for a life without

certainty You have no

final say
