Mather Schneider’s Comments

I am not well known, but if I am known at all it is for writing poems and stories about driving a taxi, a job I had for many years but which I have finally left behind me. I can’t remember when or where I wrote these three poems published here, but they are all true stories about my youth, one from grade school, one from high school, and one from young adulthood when I first started going to bars. I don’t think there is anything about these poems that needs to be explained; I’m not a fan of poems that need to be explained. I am happy to see them in FRiGG and I hope they touch upon some larger aspects of humanity.
