portion of the artwork for Mary Kane's stories

Mary Kane’s Comments

In my free time, I like to make envelopes. Sometimes I paint them, sometimes I stitch them, I can’t really say what the next one will look like. I like the idea of little pieces of art traveling through many different hands, maybe delighting a postal carrier here or there along the way, carrying positive energy out into in the world. If you would like to receive an envelope, send me your mailing address at marykane118@gmail.com. Who knows, I might write you a poem as well.

As for the stories, well, I’m in the process of designing a read hat and coat with an artist friend. In fact, all these stories are taken from life. Sometimes the life happens first, sometimes the story happens first. My cat is named Lionel.
