Jayne Pupek’s Comments

My grandfather worked as a town cop and my father spent some time as a military police officer. Soon after graduate school, I went to work for the Department of Corrections where I spent many years treating adolescent and adult sex offenders. After turning my attention to writing full time, programs like Law & Order became the best way for me to revisit that world. There really is no better story than the conflict between good and evil. I have always been fascinated by criminals, even though I usually root for the good guys.
