As a “poet and a player” there are only two
universal truths of which I’m reasonably certain.
A)
Writing an original line of verse at 5 in the morning
by moonlight on the sun porch shivering in a ratty
thrift-store housecoat, with a migraine and loose
bowels to boot, is very much equivalent to “playing
the hand you are dealt”which in turn, at every turn,
comes down to fooling yourself.
and
B)
I love FRiGG Magazine, with every iota of my lacerated heart.
